Educational training for the Roma community of Rome

The ROMunicare project also includes a stage of frontal learning destined to 50 Roma people coming from both informal settlements and formal settlements of the Municipality of Rome. The meetings will follow the general “learning by doing” principle and will therefore have a laboratory-style approach. The main goals will be: increasing the awareness about their rights; improving the capability of analyzing and communicating their needs; facilitating the access to the system of social and health services. The educational meetings take place at the Department of Social Policies, Subsidiarity and Health, and they include the participation of two groups composed of 25 people each. Each group will participate in 5 days of educational training, 6 hours per day.
